[May had crashed down from the ceiling after being chased by Envy, so she really didn't expect to end up within the leaves of a forest. Her first thought intentionally being 'I'm safe' with the second coming to a realization that this was.. not where she should be.

Cue the loud 'wah' of confusion. Getting up, she grasps the journal tossing it aside turning on the video function for anyone to see her flailing about.]

W-where am I? I.. This.. can't be Central! [Did she get knocked out and transported somewhere. Something bright behind her catches her eye causing her to turn around and see the wings.]

WINGS? I have wings...? [A beat pauses as she stares at them until a spot beside her moves catching her attention.]

Xiao-Mei! I'm glad I found you! [Cue snuggling with the small panda.] Did we die? If we were dead, you'd have wings too.. right?

[With May seeing the journal and picking it up, the feed clicks off.]

[He casually hops down beside her.]

So, where to next? You have your panda, clothes, and weapons. Are you missing anything else?

[He looks thoughtful for a moment before nodding.]

I suppose it is. It's not far from here. [He'll take off, looking fairly pleased.]

[May blinks before heading over to his side; glancing up at him while she walks.]

There are quite a few people from our world here, isn't there?

There is. Many of them just left. But presently, there are the two of us, Ran Fan and Greed, Ed and Winry, as well as an Amestrian woman and her daughter. I don't know if you've met them though. Gracia and Elicia Hughes.

[He knows he certainly hadn't. But then, she met Winry. So who knows?]

[As Ling goes on, the deeper the frown on her face gets.]

No, I've never heard of them before.

And Envy. He's been keeping quiet though.

He has no backup. And our abilities limit the effectiveness of his abilities. He's too cowardly to act. For now.

Greed is a homunculus too, are you sure that they won't join sides?

[She slightly doubts it, but having not being close to Greed or known him it's a legit question.]

No. Greed did his part in the final battle to defeat his father, at the expense of his own life. He has no loyalties to his brother.

[Expense of his own life. Hard words to say. It's like admitting the death of a brother.]

He's a close ally of yours, isn't he?

He's someone who will never lie. That's all that really matters.

That's reassuring than, you know he won't trick you.

It's not easy to find that kind of honesty. Especially for people like us.

[There's always someone ready to screw over Xingese royalty. Usually their siblings.]

[She'd never really thought about that before. It was always fairly easy for her to trust people without worrying about honesty. That's the reason of why she joined and traveled with Scar and Loki so quickly; maybe even why it was easy for her to fall for Alphonse (and Ed till she found out the truth.). Maybe Envy was right when he called her naive.]

o-oh, yes. It can be hard to tell if you're walking into a trap with some people.

[He senses the hesitation there. It's strange, really, how little he knows about her...]

[May's eyes flicker up to Ling's face, though she pauses before shaking her head. This didn't seem like a trap.]

No, I.. [Trust you? It didn't seem right to say that, or maybe it was. She wasn't sure.] don't believe you'd set a trap like this.

[He might berate her if she'd said she trusted him. After all, he'd done nothing to earn it so far. So he merely nods, satisfied with her answer.]

I'm glad you think so. A trap like that isn't really my style.

[After his head, May brings her eyes back down to the floor.]

Oh, easy. I would have had Ran Fan and Greed help me ambush you in the forest. I would have kept you as a prisoner until you came to see our side of things.

[Casually. So very casually.]

[The casualness of it unnerves her slightly, but not even for it to be overly noticeable.]

I'll keep that in mind, but with your philosopher's stones it would be hard for a sneak ambush.

Then I'll just have to leave it all to Ran Fan. Just in case.
