[May had crashed down from the ceiling after being chased by Envy, so she really didn't expect to end up within the leaves of a forest. Her first thought intentionally being 'I'm safe' with the second coming to a realization that this was.. not where she should be.

Cue the loud 'wah' of confusion. Getting up, she grasps the journal tossing it aside turning on the video function for anyone to see her flailing about.]

W-where am I? I.. This.. can't be Central! [Did she get knocked out and transported somewhere. Something bright behind her catches her eye causing her to turn around and see the wings.]

WINGS? I have wings...? [A beat pauses as she stares at them until a spot beside her moves catching her attention.]

Xiao-Mei! I'm glad I found you! [Cue snuggling with the small panda.] Did we die? If we were dead, you'd have wings too.. right?

[With May seeing the journal and picking it up, the feed clicks off.]

I wonder if anyone thought it was a dream for an extensive time. It would be a little funny to watch!

It's not a bad place. You should be fine once you find a place to live. You don't have to worry about food either.

It would be pretty funny, I'd hate to be the one to break to them though.

[May can't exactly say anything, she's best friends with a serial killer and has a crush on a suit of armor.]

What were your bodyguards doing at this time?

E-eeh, disabling my ability to use the pulse.. [That isn't even remotely fair!]

So no one has been able to defeat them before?

This place can be really ideal for some people, can't it?

I suppose they were looking for me. We managed to get separated.

[She's guessing this was before she saw you in Father's lair.]

I assume you signaled them once you escaped. [a beat] Maybe I should go collect my clothing now.

I think some have. They got kidnapped by more of them later, though. They can outnumber and overwhelm whoever they want to capture.

[It's really frustrating, being that powerless, whether you're the one getting kidnapped or not.]

It's comfortable, at least. [ Her voice trailed off. Was she...getting used to it here? She couldn't remember the last time she had tried to look for a way out. ]

So you don't have to worry about the small things, I guess.

I did. [When they're outside the smithy, Ling points at the clothing store.] You should be able to find your stuff there.

[He'll assume that she can at least handle alone, though.]

Resistance is a bit useless than.. That doesn't sound like something that I would want to go though. [or watch someone go though....]

That's good at least, you can also meet some nice people here it seems.

[Oh, that's convenient. May will give him a small glance as if saying 'will you be here when i get back' before moving towards the store. Honestly, she was still having slight mingled feeling of whether or not she wanted to be near him; but it certainly seemed better than being alone.]

It's amazing that your bodyguards manage to keep finding you.

[With that, she'll head in to get her clothes.]

[He shows no intention of leaving. And in fact, he'll make his way to the roof to wait for her. He's not intending to hide from her. He certainly can't, because she'll always be able to sense where he is. But if she wishes to part ways, he's not going to force her to stay. Not with all that's gone on so far.]

Mhm. Everyone's pretty agreeable. Some kinda annoying though. Stay away from a weird robot guy with blond hair.

[Edward makes a vague sound of agreement, quiet for a moment, then hastily shakes it off.]

Anyway, try not to overthink it. We're all in this together, so we'll deal with it that way, too.

Realistically, it's possible for the inside of this barrier to end upa warzone. But there's also the Shifts and sometimes there's villainous sorts in the population. For the most part, it's simple day to day life, and sometimes it's even exciting and interesting, but you can't just ignore things like that.

[May gives him a blank blink for a moment before giving him a small smile.]

You're right, we should all work on getting along.

[May doesn't take too long to get her clothes, exiting the store a few minutes later. She pauses at the front for a moment before glancing up at the roof.]

The roof is a odd place to wait, Prince Ling-sama.

A weird robot guy with blond hair? What did he do?

He's...weird. Not bad, or anything, just annoying to deal with. You'll know him when you see him.

[He leans forward, smile ever present.]

I prefer the view. Are you finished?

[That made sense, not everyone that was brought here could be innocent that just wasn't how it worked. One thing caught May's attention the most though.]
