[Just as they'd decided over the weekend, Caesar heads to the library on Thursday to meet with May for the first time. He doesn't plan to have a "formal" lesson today—just a meeting to chat with his new student and a chance for the both of them to get the hang of things. He knew there was no turning back, but hopefully this would be a good way to ease his way into this teaching business!
When he arrives at the library, Caesar quietly wanders around, looking for a little girl and her panda. That shouldn't be too hard to find.]
[May arrives shortly after Caesar does, heading straight into the library. Whether it allows pets or not doesn't really occur to her, since she always brought Xiao-Mei with her. She'd been looking forward to her lesson since the appointment had been made, not at she expected to learn much on the first day. Having just heard his voice, she was excited to see what her teacher looked like.
Having spotted Caesar, from a distance she compares him to the small description that she was given. Well, he did have on a green shirt.]
[Caesar doesn't notice her at first. In fact, he's about to turn into an aisle when he notices a small girl out of the corner of his eye. He stops, looking for the panda.]
...are you May?
[He probably doesn't look particularly teacher-like and he knows it, but hopefully, he'll be able to prove himself.]
[May perks as he calls her name, so this man was the one that she spoke with. She recognizes the voice as well. Not looking like a teacher was right, he was fairly young; not that she doubted his abilities. Giving a short nod, May went over to Caesar.]
I am, and you're Casesar-sama right? [Not that she really needed much of a confermation.] Pleased to meet you.
Just "Caesar" is fine. [He moves away from the bookshelf and walks over to her. He nods in acknowledgement.] It's nice to meet you, too. Shall we chat?
Not even a month actually. I've been informed about this place, and despite a few things it doesn't sound too bad. [She hadn't been able to get even close to fully enjoying herself though.]
If you can look past its bad points, this place isn't so bad sometimes. Everyone makes it out to be terrible when you arrive, but really, I think it's not half as bad as it could be.
I'll have to agree, they're nice enough to make things free for you. Along with supply you with your clothes from back home. This place could be much worse if they didn't.
I suppose it could be because they want to keep us in decent shape, so their experiments work out better. Still it could be much worse than this. They could have decided not to give us so many books for one.

Chatting sounds fine. [She'll glance around for one of the tables to sit at, before beginning to head over to one.]
Have you been in Luceti long?

[As he speaks, Caesar follows her right over, taking a seat almost immediately.]
